Finance Analyst

Overview

Air Products is seeking a Finance Analyst to support core finance operations and contribute to reporting, planning, analysis, and ongoing process improvements. The role works under the Finance Manager and partners with teams across the business.

The position calls for strong analytical thinking, precision, professionalism, and the ability to juggle several priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Help with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Assist in building budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
• Carry out financial analysis and prepare management reports and presentation materials.
• Support treasury and cash management tasks when needed.
• Track operating and capital spending against approved budgets.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Take part in month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare reconciliations and help maintain complete, accurate financial records.
• Support both internal and external audit requests.
• Contribute to finance automation and process improvement efforts.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to provide financial insights and business support.
• Handle additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a similar field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; suitable for recent graduates.
• Strong academic performance.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-based environment.
• High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
• Professional English proficiency; Arabic is considered an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a corporate finance setting.

Additional Information
