Executive Vice President, Global Operations

Position Summary

The Executive Vice President (EVP) of Global Operations will be a senior member of the executive leadership team, tasked with crafting and executing comprehensive strategies for worldwide operational excellence. This individual will oversee critical functions such as global business operations, supply chain logistics, manufacturing, project delivery, technology integration, quality assurance, and initiatives for continuous improvement. The EVP aims to unify operational management across all regions, optimize resource allocation globally, increase efficiency and profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction. Their leadership will support sustainable growth and long-term value creation for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global operations strategies in line with corporate goals and business expansion plans.
• Create and maintain global systems for operations management, governance, and standardized procedures.
• Improve operational models to boost organizational efficiency and ability to execute.
• Lead global business operations covering regional branches, manufacturing facilities, project and service operations.
• Ensure seamless collaboration across regions and optimize cost management for enhanced profitability and resource use.
• Establish consistent global standards and best operational practices.
• Manage supply chains globally, including planning, procurement, inventory control, and logistics, ensuring quality delivery of products and services.
• Implement supplier management frameworks and strategic sourcing practices worldwide.
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies; develop operational KPIs to track performance.
• Promote digital transformation by integrating intelligent management tools and enhancing production and cost efficiency.
• Oversee the execution of major projects, optimize resource distribution, and enhance cross-regional project collaborations.
• Control operational budgets and capital investments with an emphasis on risk management and business continuity planning.
• Ensure compliance with international standards, local regulations, corporate governance, and oversee environmental, health, safety, and sustainability management.
• Drive adoption of ERP, MES, SCM, CRM, and other digital platforms; deploy AI, Big Data, IoT, and RPA technologies to boost operational intelligence.
• Partner with senior leadership to integrate strategic initiatives, support mergers & acquisitions, and foster global partnerships and supplier ecosystems.
• Build and lead a high-performing global operations team; develop leadership training, succession plans, and a culture of innovation and continuous advancement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required; fields of study include Business Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related disciplines.
• Advanced degrees such as MBA, EMBA, or relevant Master’s qualifications are preferred.
• Over 15 years of experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or project management roles.
• A minimum of 10 years in senior leadership positions, including roles such as Head of Global Operations, COO, or VP of Operations in multinational organizations.
• Proven record managing international operations and leading cross-regional teams is highly desirable.
