Job Mission and Responsibilities

Lead the industrialization process for the new P1 project.
Enhance production efficiency concerning machinery and direct labor within the designated scope.
Capture and disseminate expertise related to industrial processes within the domain.
Contribute to the design phase of new equipment and production lines.
Facilitate Lean design workshops to encourage process improvements.

Industrialization Tasks

Manage the implementation of production equipment using IPROM methodology.
Oversee development progress of equipment or assembly lines in collaboration with suppliers.
Design and validate small tooling solutions proposed by suppliers.
Define acceptance criteria for new equipment and production lines.
Conduct pre-acceptance and final acceptance checks on equipment installations.
Execute trial runs on production lines and provide detailed reports.
Create and monitor action plans to ensure readiness for First Day of Production Run (FDPR).
Perform and gather equipment and process capability data.
Configure equipment and propose process validation plans to ensure quality standards.
Participate in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Control Plan development.

Mass Production Responsibilities

Monitor Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale (QCDM) metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Track equipment performance continuously, focusing on optimization opportunities.
Work on reducing cycle times to optimize investment, material usage, and labor costs.
Update routing processes in the information system with approval from the Shop Floor Supervisor (SPV).
Support production technicians through training, analysis, and problem-solving assistance.
Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers for improvement and support issues.
Participate in SPV workshops and Active Production Unit Quick Response Quality Control (APU QRQC) activities.

Standardization Duties

Approve PG RAISE and CdC standards created by Standard Owners.
Evaluate and validate any proposed changes to standards by various sites.
Understand, apply, and promote relevant standards (PG, corporate, or site-specific) within the work area.
Ensure compliance with SPV rules and procedures.

Environmental and Safety Obligations

Ensure adherence to Valeo Group safety and environmental procedures.
Maintain 5S standards and report any related issues promptly.
Alert management to any violations of safety regulations.
