Executive General Manager - Innovation & Growth

About the Role

BlueCare, part of UnitingCare Queensland and one of Australia's largest aged care providers, is undergoing major transformation and growth. We are looking for a high-caliber executive leader to spearhead innovation and sustainable development within the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the formulation and implementation of BlueCare’s enterprise-wide strategy to align priorities with organizational goals and tangible outcomes.
• Drive transformational initiatives to enhance organizational sustainability, customer satisfaction, and capabilities.
• Establish strong governance over strategic portfolios to ensure prioritized and effective delivery, working in coordination with UnitingCare’s broader strategic agenda.
• Evaluate commercial opportunities and establish investment decision-making frameworks supporting enduring growth.
• Innovate and scale new service models to meet evolving customer needs, regulatory changes, and market dynamics.
• Provide strategic oversight to marketing, brand presence, and sales teams to boost brand reputation and market expansion.
• Utilize customer insights, market data, and performance metrics to guide strategic planning and decision processes.
• Collaborate with enterprise strategy executives, boards, and stakeholders to accelerate achievement of strategic goals.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team focused on innovation, accountability, and continuous development.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Tertiary education in Business, Economics, Strategy, Commerce, Health Administration, or a related discipline.
• Proven executive leadership experience managing complex large-scale transformations and strategy implementation within regulated sectors.
• Experienced in enterprise portfolio governance, program assurance, and realization of benefits.
• Strong commercial insight especially in investment evaluation and fostering sustainable growth.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives and boards through clear, informative decision-making papers and progress updates.
• Expertise in leading marketing, brand management, and sales functions ethically to generate and convert demand.
• Postgraduate qualifications and prior aged care sector experience are advantageous.
