Role Overview
Within Unilever’s Digital and Technology division, this role plays a pivotal part in advancing major strategic initiatives across North America, a key market with global significance. Position Purpose
The Executive Assistant will deliver top-tier administrative and organizational support to the SVP & Chief Digital and Information Officer for North America. This role demands managing a dynamic, multi-time-zone calendar, coordinating complex travel plans both domestically and internationally, overseeing expense reports, and facilitating comprehensive meeting arrangements. It requires a commitment to embody Unilever’s core values and culture, reinforcing both personal and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and manage the executive’s daily schedule to ensure efficient completion of duties.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion and sound judgment.
- Engage effectively with employees and senior leaders internally and externally.
- Proactively coordinate a complex calendar across multiple global time zones, prioritizing business needs and projects.
- Arrange diverse meetings such as leadership team gatherings, off-sites, town halls, and one-on-ones.
- Manage detailed planning and bookings for domestic and international travel itineraries.
- Process and reconcile expense reports accurately.
- Support event logistics including food and luncheon arrangements for business meetings as needed.
- Assist with other administrative and project-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior or C-suite leaders in a demanding, fast-paced setting.
- Highly organized, proactive problem-solver with keen attention to detail.
- Results-driven with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Flexible and adaptable in managing shifting priorities and deadlines in a growth-oriented environment.
- Proven leadership within a team and process-driven environment.
- Excellent relationship management skills, capable of building networks throughout the organization.
- High degree of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Polite, professional, and courteous demeanor.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers an annual salary range from 71,000 to 106,600 USD, with compensation decisions influenced by expertise, qualifications, and organizational needs. Bonus and Long-Term Incentive eligibility are included.
