The business is moving beyond software into a fully service-enabled platform with the long-term goal of becoming the core operating system for brokerages, agencies, and carriers in the insurance space.
The company sells into a traditional industry that is actively looking for modern, AI-enabled solutions.
Role Overview
This is a senior, full-cycle enterprise Account Executive position that reports directly to the founder. The role involves selling to large brokerages, carriers, wirehouses, and related financial services organizations. You will be responsible for creating your own pipeline, leading demos, and closing complex enterprise deals. Early-stage deals typically start in the low-to-mid six-figure range, with larger opportunity value expected as you ramp.
The seat offers a high degree of ownership and autonomy, with the chance to grow alongside a fast-moving company. It is well suited to someone who enjoys a hands-on, fast-paced environment and can operate independently.
Work Setup
This is a remote role for candidates based in the United States, and it includes regular travel. Travel is expected about once a month for conferences and in-person sales activity.
Compensation
The package includes a $150K base salary, with on-target earnings in the $300K to $400K range.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to demonstration and final negotiation.
- Target enterprise brokerages, carriers, wirehouses, and large financial institutions.
- Develop strong business relationships in a market where trust and in-person connection matter.
- Conduct discovery calls and deliver product demos for a sophisticated platform.
- Travel approximately once each month for conferences and face-to-face selling.
- Work closely with marketing and customer success teams to pursue and close the right accounts.
Requirements
- 7 to 15 years of experience in enterprise B2B software sales, with evidence of winning larger deals.
- Background in startup environments, preferably with exposure to traditional or slower-moving industries.
- A strong outbound mindset with the energy, speed, and persistence needed to build pipeline and relationships quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building ability, along with a confident and positive presence.
- Comfort using technology and AI-powered tools.
- A consistent history of exceeding quota in recent roles.
- Prior experience selling into insurance or financial services is a plus.
