Engineering Trainee

Role Overview

Join as an Engineering Trainee to gain practical experience within our manufacturing and quality departments. This position offers you the chance to learn firsthand from skilled engineers and supervisors about inspection techniques, production workflows, quality management systems, and manufacturing operations.

The role targets motivated individuals with strong technical potential, responsibility, discipline, and eagerness to enhance their skills. Successful trainees can progress into permanent positions in areas including Quality, Production, Process Improvement, or Manufacturing Excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final inspections of parts adhering to established inspection standards.
• Acquire skills in dimensional measurement through the use of gauges and other measuring tools.
• Accurately document inspection outcomes and maintain quality records.
• Observe and report any production process anomalies promptly.
• Assist in identifying root causes for quality and production challenges.
• Help monitor production progress and prepare daily reports.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, safety norms, and quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to address and resolve shop floor issues.
• Engage in initiatives towards continuous improvement and 5S implementation.
• Learn various manufacturing techniques such as coiling, heat treatment, grinding, shot peening, testing, and painting.

Candidate Profile

We welcome diploma or bachelor's degree holders in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Metallurgy, or similar engineering fields. Fresh graduates and candidates with up to two years of manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.
