Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrician with 1 to 5 years of experience and formal qualifications such as ITI or Diploma in Electrical to join our team on a full-time basis in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The role involves carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks for various electrical equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, upkeep, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and fix electrical issues in motors, machines, panels, and related devices.
- Maintain control panels, motor control center (MCC) panels, distribution boards, and wiring systems.
- Handle electrical components including motors, contactors, starters, relays, sensors, and switches.
- Interpret and work from electrical circuit and wiring diagrams.
- Execute preventive maintenance as well as breakdown repairs efficiently.
- Ensure proper earthing and uphold electrical safety standards.
- Utilize electrical testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, and meggers for accurate assessments.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
- Adhere strictly to electrical safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate effectively with production and maintenance units during electrical issues.
Job Requirements
- Educational background with ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and components.
- Solid knowledge of motors, starters, control panels, and electrical wiring.
- Capability to read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams.
- Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance techniques.
- Basic understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and sensor technology is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude coupled with safety-conscious behavior.
- Flexibility to work in shifts if required.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial or machinery maintenance environments is preferable.
Compensation
This full-time position offers a monthly salary ranging from ₹18,000 to ₹23,000.
