About The Role
Join a collaboration with leading AI research laboratories to enhance the technical capabilities of AI models specifically in electrical engineering disciplines. Your expertise will influence how AI systems navigate complex problems across fields like circuit analysis, control systems, and signal processing.
This position offers a fully remote, flexible contract allowing you to balance this role alongside your current commitments. It is open to graduate students, practicing engineers, or recent graduates with a strong electrical engineering foundation.

Key Responsibilities
- Formulate challenging problems covering electrical engineering areas such as power systems, embedded systems, and electromagnetics to rigorously evaluate AI performance.
- Create detailed, stepwise solutions that set technical benchmarks for AI training.
- Examine AI-generated outputs including code, circuit schematics, and mathematical work for accuracy, safety, and alignment with standards like IEEE and NEC.
- Detect and address logical errors or inconsistencies in AI’s engineering reasoning, providing clear feedback to enhance model capabilities.
Qualifications
- Possession or pursuit of an advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Expertise in key EE subjects such as VLSI, telecommunications, power electronics, signal processing, control systems, or embedded systems.
- Excellent written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Attention to detail with a talent for identifying errors in engineering calculations and documentation.
- No prior experience in AI or data annotation necessary.
Preferred Experience
- Background in technical writing, data annotation, or quality review processes.
- Familiarity with engineering simulation software like MATLAB or SPICE.
- Experience in academic research or reviewing engineering standards.
