Electrical Engineer - System Design

Job Overview

This role demands an engineer well-versed in specifying and supporting procurement for electrical components such as transformers, high and low voltage cables, batteries and chargers, UPS systems, various cables, motors, earthing and lightning systems, lighting, diesel generators, and electrical assistance for mechanical packages. The candidate should be technically proficient and capable of reviewing vendor documentation including drawings for transformers, motors, switchgear, control panels, local push button stations, control cables, cathodic protection systems, plant communication systems, emergency diesel generators, and other OEM packages.

Experience and Skills

Applicants must have prior experience working on power plant projects, as well as in the oil and gas or industrial sectors. The role requires excellent communication skills in both spoken and written forms, the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, and coordination across various disciplines.

Project Environment

Preference will be given to candidates who have engaged in detailed engineering roles within international EPC projects, demonstrating expertise in executing tasks in diverse and multidimensional teams.
