E-commerce Officer

Position Summary

The E-commerce Officer focusing on Food & Frozen Food is responsible for managing digital operations, ensuring catalog accuracy, regulatory compliance, and efficient online sales processes related to our food production lines. This role ensures the digital storefront reliably reflects current stock, allergen and nutritional information, and expiration tracking.

Key Duties

• Maintain detailed online product listings with compliance to food regulations, including clear ingredient, allergen, nutritional, and storage information.
• Handle complex pricing models such as weight-based pricing, bulk wholesale packs, and institutional sizes.
• Update and review product imagery to correspond with packaging changes.
• Manage the seamless transfer of online orders to cold storage, prioritizing order processing by delivery schedules and regions.
• Collaborate with third-party refrigerated logistics providers to ensure strict temperature-controlled delivery timing.
• Monitor shipping durations to prevent spoilage, establishing contingency plans for delays.
• Oversee real-time inventory levels, coordinating with production planning to avoid out-of-stock online sales.
• Implement FIFO principles digitally to promote products with nearer expiration dates via special pricing or bundles.
• Set automatic alerts for low stocks of high-demand items.
• Launch online marketing initiatives such as flash sales and seasonal promotions aligning with consumer demand cycles.
• Analyze purchaser behavior to deliver accurate demand forecasts to the production team for aligned manufacturing.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related fields such as Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or Food Science.
• Between 2 to 4 years of e-commerce operations background, with no less than 1 year working with perishable goods in F&B or FMCG sectors.
• Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, or region-specific B2B/food delivery systems) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong knowledge of cold-chain logistics and food safety standards, with familiarity of HACCP principles considered beneficial.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel for managing large data sets involving product variants, expiration tracking, and stock synchronization.
