Job Overview

BESIX Watpac is inviting applications for the role of Draftsperson within our Engineering Solutions team. This position is a fixed-term contract serving as maternity leave cover until the end of January 2028. The chosen candidate will engage in developing and conveying advanced engineering concepts and construction methodologies alongside drafting design solutions for various projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the internal engineering team by crafting complex methodologies, sequencing strategies, temporary structures, and detailed 2D and 3D structural designs.
• Play a role in tender responses by preparing methodology documentation, installation plans, 3D visual representations, and logistics including cranage layouts.
• Collaborate with the Digital Engineering Lead to improve REVIT functionalities such as template creation, database oversight, family component design, and enhancing drawing utilities.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality assurance protocols and maintain effective document management across project deliverables.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience working in a similar capacity with REVIT and AutoCAD, preferably within building structures or related engineering projects.
• Strong communication skills capable of influencing and establishing productive relationships throughout all organizational levels and stakeholders.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with a precise, methodical, and technical mindset.
