Dispatch Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a diligent and detail-focused Dispatch Officer to oversee the daily dispatch activities in our warehouse/logistics department. The candidate will play a critical role in managing order processing, collaborating with multiple teams, and ensuring smooth dispatch operations within a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and execute daily dispatch plans to ensure timely shipment of goods.
• Authenticate invoices, delivery challans, and dispatch quantities prior to shipping.
• Work closely with warehouse personnel, delivery agents, transporters, and vendors for seamless coordination.
• Guarantee accurate and timely dispatch of customer orders.
• Monitor shipment progress and update delivery status regularly.
• Maintain records including dispatch registers, e-way bills, proof of delivery, and transportation documentation.
• Manage loading and unloading activities alongside warehouse teams.
• Identify and escalate any delays or issues with pending orders.
• Ensure products are adequately packed and labeled before dispatch.
• Collaborate with sales and customer support teams to align on dispatch timelines.
• Uphold cleanliness and organizational standards in dispatch areas.
• Adhere strictly to company SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong interpersonal and coordination abilities.
• Basic proficiency with Excel, billing software, ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Capable of managing multiple dispatch operations simultaneously.
• Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management and decision-making capabilities.
• Completion of any degree or equivalent intermediate level education.
• Preferably 1 to 3 years experience in warehouse, logistics, or dispatch roles.
• Prior experience in FMCG or e-commerce dispatch environments is beneficial.

Working Conditions

The role is based in a warehouse/dispatch center setting that may require standing for long periods and coordinating physical loading tasks. Flexibility with shift hours is needed during peak operational times.

Compensation

In Hyderabad market, freshers can expect a salary between ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per month, while experienced candidates may earn ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 monthly.
