The company seeks to enhance the sustainable management and performance of critical infrastructure assets within a multifaceted real estate setting.
Role Overview
This leadership position focuses on overseeing infrastructure asset management with an emphasis on operational preparedness, service assurance, portfolio effectiveness, and maximizing commercial value. The director will collaborate extensively with diverse stakeholders to synchronize operational efforts, ensure smooth asset handovers, and maintain dependable service delivery and long-term asset value.
Key Responsibilities
- Incorporate operational requirements for infrastructure assets into project stage gates to confirm readiness and service criteria, ensuring well-planned asset handovers.
- Supervise service quality at the portfolio level across infrastructure assets to guarantee consistent operations and adherence to established standards.
- Provide operational insights to support asset lifecycle management, including prioritizing maintenance, renewal planning, handover strategies, and performance analytics.
- Lead the commercial activation of infrastructure assets by managing leasing, commercial agreements, joint ventures, partnerships, service charge mechanisms, cost recovery, and ensure accurate invoicing in collaboration with Finance & Controls.
- Generate performance analyses and optimization strategies to improve service delivery, asset functionality, and overall long-term value.
- Coordinate closely with City Assets Operations & Maintenance teams, operators, facility management service providers, Finance & Controls, and other key stakeholders to align goals and service needs across the asset portfolio.
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, economics, real estate development, asset management, town planning, or a related discipline.
- At least 12 years of director-level experience managing infrastructure assets, public utilities, roads, public realm infrastructure, facilities management, or extensive asset operations.
- Proven expertise in asset lifecycle planning, ensuring service quality, readiness for asset handovers, and managing portfolio performance.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen involving joint ventures, partnerships, service charges, cost recovery, and maximizing value from assets.
- The ability to translate operational requirements into stage gate inputs for readiness assessments.
- Strong skills in evaluating asset performance, pinpointing improvement areas, and formulating practical enhancement plans.
- Experience collaborating with operators, facility management providers, city operations functions, senior leadership, government agencies, and internal teams.
- Eligibility to work within Saudi Arabia is mandatory.
