About the Role
We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer (Level 1) based in Bengaluru to join our team and deliver onsite IT support services. The role involves managing hardware issues, replacing faulty equipment, installing software, and performing basic networking tasks including LAN cable crimping. Candidates with bike ownership will have an added advantage for onsite mobility.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hardware problems efficiently and perform device replacements as needed.
- Install and configure software applications on desktops and laptops.
- Conduct basic networking activities such as LAN crimping and network troubleshooting.
- Provide on-site support to end-users ensuring minimal downtime.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma in any specialization.
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
- Skills in software installation and operating system setup.
- Basic knowledge of networking and LAN cable crimping.
- Familiarity with printer installation and Outlook configuration is preferred.
- Good communication skills in English, Kannada, and Hindi.
