Design Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The role involves creating and revising 2D drawings using AutoCAD, developing production and fabrication documentation, maintaining Bill of Materials (BOM) and associated records, implementing design modifications based on production needs, and working on SolidWorks models and design enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update detailed 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD software.
• Prepare accurate production and fabrication drawings to support manufacturing.
• Maintain and update the Bill of Materials (BOM) along with related documentation.
• Implement drawing revisions to address production requirements and improvements.
• Develop and modify SolidWorks models to reflect updated designs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic to proficient proficiency in AutoCAD for creating mechanical drawings.
• Solid understanding of mechanical drawings and design principles.
• Fundamental knowledge of sheet metal work and fabrication processes.
• Awareness of manufacturing workflows and procedures.
• Good communication skills coupled with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary in the range of INR 15,000 to INR 25,000.
