Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Design Consultant specializing in AI-enhanced graphics and visual design for a fixed-term 3-month contract based in Mumbai. This position involves partnering closely with the Head of AI Creative and cross-disciplinary teams to establish AI-powered creative workflows and build scalable design systems across multiple platforms such as campaigns, digital media, branded content, and print.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of AI-assisted visual creative assets for diverse outlets including social media, print, campaigns, events, editorial visuals, and digital platforms.
- Transform briefs into compelling visual narratives by combining design thinking, storytelling, audience insight, and innovative AI-driven creative techniques.
- Ensure design outputs uphold originality, brand coherence, and high-quality standards, while enhancing speed and scalability through AI solutions.
- Create distinctive visual identities and modern design approaches that reinforce BCCL's brand presence across all touchpoints.
- Develop operational AI-enabled workflows covering image generation, creative adaptation, layout design, motion-assisted visuals, and asset optimization to streamline production.
- Construct reusable creative frameworks including templates, prompt libraries, brand kits, and visual systems to enhance efficient content creation.
- Champion multi-platform asset adaptation tailored for print, digital, social, mobile, events, and advertiser ecosystems to maintain brand consistency and optimize audience engagement.
- Collaborate extensively with Brand, Editorial, Product & Technology, Marketing, and external teams to translate business goals into effective AI-driven visual storytelling.
- Implement design governance by setting standards, overseeing creative review processes, and ensuring ethical, copyright-compliant, and brand-safe AI-generated outputs.
- Drive innovation through experimentation with new AI-powered formats, conducting workshops, and scaling learnings to cultivate AI adoption across teams.
Experience & Educational Background
- 7 to 10 years of professional experience in visual design, graphic communication, branded content, digital and integrated creative environments.
- Proven portfolio showcasing impactful visual storytelling and brand-centric creative executions across diverse formats and platforms.
- Hands-on expertise with AI-driven design tools including image synthesis, creative adaptation, typography, motion-assisted design, and automated asset production workflows.
- Experience working within media, digital content, advertising, brand studios, or creator platforms preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Digital Media, Advertising, or related fields.
- Additional certifications or practical experience in AI design technologies, generative AI, creative automation, or motion design considered advantageous.

- Strong understanding of AI-enabled workflows encompassing image generation, prompt engineering, layout systems, typography exploration, and visual storytelling.
