  • Prepare and submit Duty Payment Requests efficiently for timely customs duty settlements; liaise with finance for duty planning and handle payments for Customs House Agents.
  • Ensure strict compliance with customs regulations aiming for zero errors in Bill of Entry submissions and on-time duty payments to prevent interest charges.
  • Minimize shipment detention and associated penalties, keeping penalty costs under 0.5% of material value by ensuring prompt shipment clearance.
  • Manage advance filing of Bill of Entry to guarantee clearance within 7 days for sea shipments and 3 days for air shipments to streamline operations.
  • Engage collaboratively with key internal teams such as Imports leadership, Warehouse, Procurement, and Finance, as well as external parties including Customs Authorities, Freight Forwarders, Customs Brokers, and Importers.

Educational and Professional Background

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or allied disciplines.
  • Have 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in import logistics or related domains, demonstrating successful management of import operations and regulatory compliance.
