Deli Assistant

Overview

This position entails preparing premium hot and cold deli products while prioritizing excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction. The role is based in Newbliss, County Monaghan, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold the Centra brand values which include being Proud, Energetic, Imaginative, and Community-Oriented.
• Prepare and fulfill customer orders across all fresh food sections, such as assembling sandwiches, rolls, dishing hot foods, and slicing meats following the store's portion control guidelines.
• Cook, arrange, and showcase food items sold throughout the day.
• Maintain the deli counter and displays at the highest level of quality throughout operating hours.
• Express enthusiasm for quality food by sharing knowledge, recipes, and personal suggestions with customers.
• Handle customer inquiries efficiently and professionally adhering to store policies.

Candidate Profile

• Experience or training in HACCP is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Background in customer service is advantageous.
• Capable of multitasking and performing efficiently under pressure within a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
• Genuine passion for food and ability to inspire shoppers.
