Position Overview

Seeking a Data Scientist contractor to join a remote team focused on advancing AI model training. This role requires leveraging domain expertise to influence how AI systems learn and perform, with no prior AI experience mandatory.

Primary Responsibilities

• Gather, cleanse, and preprocess varied datasets ensuring they are primed for analysis.
• Create, test, and implement statistical models to derive meaningful insights from complex data inputs.
• Perform exploratory analyses to discern patterns and trends that can facilitate business enhancements.
• Develop and deliver clear data visualizations and reports suited to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Partner with colleagues to conceptualize and execute comprehensive data projects from inception to completion.
• Refine analytical techniques and automate processes to streamline data workflows continuously.
• Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey data-driven conclusions with clarity.

Essential Qualifications

• Strong foundation in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis methods.
• Hands-on experience in acquiring, managing, and cleaning extensive and complex datasets.
• Proficiency with programming languages like Python, R, or equivalents for data processing and modeling tasks.
• Skilled in constructing and validating predictive data models.
• Advanced visualization expertise utilizing tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or comparable libraries.
• Keen attention to detail ensuring data integrity throughout all processes.
• Superior communication skills focusing on clarity and accuracy.
