Position Overview
Tharp Consulting is looking to hire a meticulous Data Entry Specialist to work remotely, focusing on accurate data management and support across multiple internal systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Precisely entering and updating data related to clients, programs, and donors in internal databases.
- Checking the integrity and completion of data prior to input.
- Maintaining and modifying existing database records as necessary.
- Organizing and maintaining orderly digital files and documents.
- Preparing summary reports and basic data analyses when required.
- Collaborating with other internal teams to address and resolve inconsistencies in data.
- Ensuring confidentiality and privacy of all sensitive information handled.
- Consistently achieving established daily and weekly data entry quality and productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Educational attainment of a high school diploma or GED.
- Typing proficiency with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute.
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications.
- Exceptional attention to accuracy and detail in tasks.
- Capability to operate independently with limited supervision.
- Strong skills in verbal and written communication.
- Access to reliable internet and a quiet, dedicated workspace at home.
- An affinity for nonprofit organizations and community-focused initiatives is an advantage.
