Role Significance

We are looking for a driven Data Business Analyst to join our Data & AI team. This role is crucial in guiding how data, analytics, and AI capabilities are integrated and utilized throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

The primary function of the Data Business Analyst is to serve as the connection between business stakeholders and the Data & AI team, converting business requirements into technical data, analytics, and AI solutions. Collaborating with Clinical, Operations, Workforce, Finance, and ICT departments, you will aid in delivering reporting, data platforms, and initiatives utilizing Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot technologies.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven track record in implementing data, analytics, BI, or AI projects as a Business Analyst.
• Skilled in gathering requirements, engaging stakeholders, and mapping business processes.
• Competent in SQL, data analysis, and Power BI.
• Familiar with Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and AI/Copilot tools.
• Understanding of data modelling, reporting standards, KPIs, and analytics.
• Experience supporting testing phases, user acceptance testing, and solution delivery in Agile methodologies.
• Knowledgeable about data governance, privacy, security, and ethical AI principles.
• Exceptional communication abilities and enthusiasm for leveraging data and AI to enhance business operations.
• Background in aged care, healthcare, or regulated sectors is advantageous.
• Experience with APIs, system integrations, and data governance frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Copilot Studio, AI Builder, or Power Platform AI offerings.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively at all organisational levels.
• Competent documentation and reporting skills.
• Must hold valid work rights in Australia, a current driver’s licence, and either possess or be willing to obtain a National Police check/NDIS check.

Qualifications

Relevant academic qualifications in Business, IT, Data Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Certifications in Microsoft technologies, Agile methodologies, or Business Analysis are highly desirable.
