Role Overview

Virtusa is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support security operations in Doha, Qatar. This position calls for a professional with 7+ years of experience who can help monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents while strengthening SOC operations.

Core Skills and Experience

The role requires hands-on expertise in cyber security incident response, continuous security monitoring, SOC operations at L2 level, forensic analysis, and threat analysis with incident investigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and review security alerts and incidents to identify potential risks.
• Handle triage, escalation, and coordinated response steps for security events.
• Deliver Level 2 SOC assistance and manage incident workflows.
• Carry out malware analysis and reverse engineering where needed.
• Examine logs, network traffic, forensic evidence, and threat intelligence feeds.
• Confirm threats, evaluate business impact, and suggest appropriate remediation measures.

Experience Requirement

Candidates should bring more than 7 years of relevant cyber security experience.
