Security Clearance Requirement

Selected applicants will undergo a government security investigation and must fulfill eligibility conditions, including U.S. citizenship, for classified information access. An active Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and order throughout approximately 120,000 square feet across specified locations.
• Perform custodial duties including trash disposal, kitchen care, restroom and shower sanitization, floor cleaning, conference room upkeep, gym maintenance, and mother's room hygiene.
• Conduct sanitary cleaning and provide custodial services for special events as needed.
• Respond promptly to emergencies such as spills, sewer backups, water or fire damage, bodily fluids, and related cleaning requirements.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum flooring surfaces.
• Collect and remove trash appropriately.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including supplying necessary items.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment regularly.
• Wash windows, mirrors, and partitions using suitable cleansers.
• Adhere to safety procedures when handling chemical cleaners and power tools to prevent damage.
• Polish furniture and fixtures to maintain appearance.
• Shampoo or steam-clean carpets and rugs effectively.
• Operate vehicles such as golf carts to transport supplies.
• Manage inventory and restock cleaning supplies as necessary.

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED with at least two years of custodial work experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to undergo government security checks; possess an active Top-Secret Clearance with the eligibility to acquire TS/SCI clearance.
• Capable of obtaining a work permit to reside and work in Germany.
• Eligible to secure a Class B German driver’s license for passenger vehicles such as cars, vans, and small trucks.

Physical and Functional Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds with physical endurance to perform tasks like loading, unloading, and equipment operation following safety standards.
• Relocate a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
• Perform duties at heights up to 60 feet and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and ladders.
• Regularly engage in physical activities including walking, climbing, lifting, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead.
• Good vision (corrected if needed), color vision, and ability to hear and communicate fluently in English are required.
• Use standard ladders safely while carrying tools within weight limits.
• Identify potential problems without needing to solve them immediately.
• Apply logical reasoning to specific situations to produce sensible conclusions.
• Synthesize information to discern patterns or relationships among seemingly unrelated data.
• Ability to see fine details at close range and comprehend spoken information effectively.
