Curriculum Developer for 2 Hour Learning (Remote)

Role Overview

This position centers on advancing the innovative 2-Hour Learning system, enabling students to complete a day's academic content in two focused hours, followed by creative or physical activities. As a Curriculum Developer, you will work remotely to translate extensive AI-generated learning performance data into targeted strategies that help each student achieve at least 90% mastery.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing detailed Academic Data Reports and thoroughly analyzing them to detect issues, anomalies, and implement rectifications within two days.
• Conducting urgent intervention sessions and follow-up coaching post-assessment to clear learning obstacles, differentiate between conceptual misunderstandings and execution errors, and keep students motivated.
• Evaluating and integrating new educational tools and materials, while developing AI/LLM prototypes to improve instructional approaches and solve specific challenges.
• Working closely with leadership to enhance tools, dashboards, and mastery criteria as the AI tutor evolves.

Scope of Work Exclusions

• Not required to attend unending meetings or prepare presentation decks that lack direct measurable impacts.
• No responsibility for scoring assignments, designing lesson plans, or running traditional educational programs due to reliance on AI and innovative methods.
• The role focuses on tactical, dynamic execution rather than abstract strategy or monotonous repetition.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Demonstrated background in data science or similar roles within education, EdTech, or learner-facing jobs that blend analytics and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets for data operations such as lookups, pivot tables, and filtering.
• Strong emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, and a student-focused approach to coaching.
• Experience creating workflows and automations using AI technologies.
• At least one year of experience directly working with students in grades K-8.
• Availability to work mandatory core hours from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time, Monday to Friday.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of learning science, pedagogy, or proven success improving outcomes through data-driven techniques.
• Familiarity with generative AI, prompt engineering, and introductory programming skills (Python, JavaScript, or similar) for interfacing with AI APIs.

Employment Details

This is a full-time role requiring a 40-hour workweek and is available for immediate start. Employment is via an independent contractor agreement with Crossover acting as Contractor of Record. Pay is $30 USD per hour, equating to $60,000 annually based on 50 working weeks each year, paid weekly.
