Counter Staff - Service Associate

Job Overview

We are seeking a Service Associate to join our team at PVR Cinemas in Bengaluru. This role involves engaging with customers at various touchpoints within the cinema, including ticket counters, food and beverage counters, and auditorium management.

Key Responsibilities

• Operates the Box Office by selling movie tickets through POS systems, assisting customers with showtimes, seat availability, and ticket prices.
• Manages cash and digital payment transactions with precision.
• Handles Food & Beverage services, which include taking and serving orders for snacks, beverages, and combos both at counters and via in-seat service; maintaining inventory and hygiene; operating POS equipment; and performing suggestive selling to promote premium items.
• Responsible for ushering duties such as ticket verification, guiding guests to their seats, maintaining auditorium cleanliness, ensuring functional lighting and sound, and managing crowd flow during entry and exit.
• Provides excellent guest interaction by greeting patrons warmly, addressing general queries, assisting with directions to seats, restrooms, and concessions, handling minor complaints, and elevating issues to supervisors when necessary.
• Ensures a welcoming, professional environment throughout all guest interactions.
