Corporate Relationship Manager (Placement Officer)

Overview

We are hiring a Corporate Relationship Manager to serve as a Placement Officer in Bhopal. This position is responsible for fostering solid connections with companies to create placement, internship, and live project opportunities for students. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, outreach, and networking skills with a solid grasp of IT and non-IT recruitment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture connections with HR professionals, talent acquisition teams, and hiring managers across various industries including IT and beyond.
• Drive placement chances, internships, and project engagements for students.
• Organize campus recruitment drives, walk-in interviews, virtual hiring sessions, and other hiring campaigns.
• Identify and engage new companies to consistently grow the employer network.
• Collaborate with trainers and student success teams to ensure interview preparedness.
• Maintain comprehensive records of corporate contacts and recruiters.
• Perform consistent follow-ups with recruiters regarding hiring progress and requirements.
• Negotiate partnerships, memorandums of understanding (MoUs), and long-term recruitment agreements.
• Monitor placement goals, interview outcomes, and key hiring metrics.
• Coordinate industry interactions such as guest lectures, corporate visits, and networking opportunities.
• Collect and relay employer feedback to enhance student job readiness.
• Prepare and deliver placement performance reports and management dashboards.

Skills & Qualifications

• Outstanding verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Proven aptitude in building and maintaining professional relationships.
• Good understanding of IT job profiles and recruitment procedures.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and MS Excel.
• Experience working towards targets and meeting deadlines.
• Professional documentation and email correspondence skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
• 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in corporate relations, placement, business development, recruitment, or client relationship management.
• Prior industry experience in Education, EdTech, Training Institutes, or IT sector is advantageous.
• Existing network with HR professionals and recruiters considered beneficial.
