Role overview
Secretlab is an ergonomic chair and desk brand with a global user base of more than 3 million people. Headquartered in Singapore, the company focuses heavily on digital and social channels, where its branded content reaches roughly 1 to 2 million impressions each day. In this position, you will join the marketing communications team to shape content for core products and partnership campaigns across the website and social media.
The role also involves collaboration with a wide range of international partners and properties, including HBO franchises such as Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon, Warner Bros and DC characters like Batman, The Joker and Harley Quinn, Blizzard’s Overwatch, top esports organisations such as T1, Cloud9, Team Liquid and Paper Rex, and major tournaments including League of Legends Worlds, VALORANT Champions, Dota 2’s The International, and Counter-Strike majors.
Your work will help strengthen Secretlab’s brand presence and reinforce its leadership in ergonomic chairs and desks for modern users and the activities they care about.
Responsibilities
- Shape and execute a broad content strategy that reaches Secretlab’s global audience of around 3 million daily.
- Create compelling stories that build positive brand perception across multiple channels while keeping messaging consistent and customer-focused.
- Own communication calendars that feature trending topics, seasonal moments, brand campaigns, news, and other relevant updates.
- Develop content plans aligned with business objectives and use data and industry practices to help guide junior team members.
- Work with Communications and Integrated Marketing stakeholders to improve workflows and ensure smooth cross-team coordination.
- Partner with Production to plan and coordinate content, stream programming, and video podcast flows for brand showcases and shopping livestreams, with strong attention to vertical video formats.
- Support sales and EDM campaigns alongside the CRM Digital Marketing team, and recommend better ways of working through practical guidance and structured internal memos where needed.
- Track performance metrics, assess campaign effectiveness, and adjust communications based on data.
- Build familiarity with audience segments and key use cases to better drive engagement and action.
- Keep up with market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy updates.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification, in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing communications or content marketing, with preference for performance marketing exposure.
- Strong ability to use copy and creative concepts to tell brand and product stories.
- Interest in and awareness of pop culture, current events, gaming, or esports.
- Solid marketing fundamentals and the ability to support work toward business outcomes.
- Hands-on knowledge of major and emerging social platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, Discord, and Twitch.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a sharp eye for detail, language quality, structure, and grammar.
- A careful and quality-focused approach to producing polished content.
- Ability to explain technical topics in simple, clear language for non-technical audiences.
Additional information
Preferred strengths include understanding customer journeys and full-funnel marketing, as well as experience with paid campaigns on social platforms.
