Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Content & Social Lead for Not Your College (NYC), a developing branch within Sheryians Coding School dedicated to nurturing a thriving community and content landscape for college students. This role demands high ownership of content creation and strategy across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn, emphasizing proactive ideation and swift execution rather than simply following preset calendars.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the overall content strategy and schedule for NYC.
- Detect emerging trends, innovative formats, and content opportunities to engage audiences.
- Generate fresh content concepts and establish recurring series or formats.
- Collaborate closely with YouTube and social media executives along with the cameraman to execute content plans.
- Manage the entire content cycle from conceptualization through production, publication, analysis, and optimization.
- Monitor performance metrics of content and focus efforts on high-impact material.
- Initiate new projects and ideas independently without waiting for direct instructions.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of two years experience in content creation, social media management, or related roles.
- Thorough familiarity with Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of contemporary trends and the preferences of Generation Z audiences.
- Strong creative abilities combined with effective execution skills.
- Energetic, self-motivated, highly proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
- Capability to operate independently and drive initiatives.
