Construction Painter

Job Overview

This role involves performing painting tasks at various physical locations, requiring onsite presence with no remote work option. The work environment includes outdoor settings, underground areas, heights, confined spaces, and locations with odors. Flexibility to relocate for different sites is necessary.

Language and Education Requirements

• Proficiency in English.
• Completion of secondary (high) school education or equivalent experience.

Experience

Applicants should have between 2 and 3 years of relevant experience in painting or construction-related tasks.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• High level of attention to detail.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to differentiate and identify colors accurately.
• Capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling.
• The role is physically demanding.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning and sanding before painting.
• Repair surface damages such as cracks and holes.
• Mix paints to achieve specified colors and textures.
• Measure, cut, and affix wallpaper or other fabrics to walls.
• Guide clients in choosing paint colors and wall coverings.
• Construct scaffolding, swing stages, and manage rigging attachments.
• Apply paints, wallpapers, and other finishes to both interior and exterior surfaces.
• Estimate the costs and quantities of materials required for projects.
