Construction Helper

Overview

This position is for a Construction Helper who will work on-site at various locations. No prior degree, certificate, or diploma is required as training will be provided. The role involves physical tasks essential for construction project support.

Languages

English communication skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• Set up and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• Provide assistance with drilling and blasting rock at construction sites.
• Level earthwork to meet fine grade requirements.
• Help with demolition of buildings.
• Clean and organize salvaged materials.
• Remove rubble and debris from construction areas.
• Operate or tend machinery and equipment used during construction activities.

Additional Information

• Ability to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
