Compliance Specialist

About the Role

Dangote Industries Limited is seeking a dedicated Compliance Specialist to oversee fleet maintenance compliance, control vehicle operating expenditures, ensure the functionality of fleet technology systems, maintain precise operational records, support process adherence, and coordinate vendor and administrative activities to optimize fleet performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily tracking of truck spare parts usage and expenditure per truck for management insights.
• Compile and present truck cost performance reports to aid management decision-making.
• Supervise daily compliance with preventive maintenance and other fleet management processes.
• Identify and report any breaches related to Mean Time To Failure (MTTF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) promptly.
• Maintain accurate data for daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Ensure all tracking equipment including AI cameras, speed limiters, and related systems are operational; escalate any malfunctions immediately to vendors and monitor follow-up until resolution.
• Conduct mandatory training for new personnel on preventive maintenance processes and coordinate with service desk to confirm SAP system access.
• Generate Purchase Requisitions for authorized services and materials, and liaise with the Accounts Department to guarantee timely vendor payment processing.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Science or Higher National Diploma in Computer Science or related disciplines.
• At least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in a related field.
• Possess high integrity and professionalism.
• Knowledgeable in regulatory and compliance requirements.
