Overview
This opportunity, posted on behalf of a partner company operating in Germany, is looking for a Compliance Analyst to support global ethics and compliance initiatives. The role primarily focuses on enhancing third-party risk management and ensuring regulatory compliance across international operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform risk-focused due diligence assessments on both prospective and existing third-party partners, emphasizing adherence to Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption (ABAC) regulations.
- Gather and scrutinize data from public records, screening platforms, and diverse sources to evaluate compliance risks.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation summarizing due diligence results, risk evaluations, and proposed actions for compliance leadership review.
- Assist in advanced due diligence investigations, remediation efforts, and risk reduction related to third-party issues.
- Keep precise and up-to-date records of third-party risks, compliance files, and databases.
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage onboarding, due diligence, remediation steps, and ongoing compliance obligations.
- Support the management and use of compliance systems, screening tools, and due diligence platforms to promote operational effectiveness.
- Produce reports and interpret compliance metrics to uncover trends and suggest process enhancements.
- Help develop and update procedures, training resources, and knowledge assets to foster uniform compliance practices.
- Work jointly with regional and global teams to assist in monitoring, audits, certifications, and broader compliance programs.
- Contribute actively to continuous improvement projects involving Ethics & Compliance, Third-Party Risk Management, and regulatory adherence.
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience in Compliance, Third-Party Risk Management, Due Diligence, Audit, Risk Management, or associated areas.
- Thorough knowledge of anti-bribery and anti-corruption principles and risk-based compliance frameworks related to third-party due diligence.
- Strong analytical and critical reasoning abilities to assess complex, multi-source information.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Capability to independently manage several competing priorities in a dynamic international setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, alongside experience in data analysis tools like Power BI.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and precision.
- Effective team collaboration skills across diverse, cross-functional, and international groups, maintaining confidentiality and professional behavior.
