Role Summary

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Compensation Lead to oversee all aspects of our compensation systems, including Radford for survey reporting and Pave for cycle management. This role involves managing compensation operations daily and ensuring that our pay programs remain effective and competitive.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete administration of our biannual compensation processes.
• Lead and contribute to all parts of the annual compensation studies to assess Affirm’s market competitiveness. This includes auditing job roles, responsibilities, and requirements; managing the benchmarking survey submission and review processes; and recommending adjustments to cash and equity pay ranges and structures.
• Carry out special projects involving compensation data analysis such as incentive pay, equity programs, and pay equity evaluations.
• Manage pay reporting procedures across Affirm’s various supported geographical regions.
• Provide support for compensation-related training and communications.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in compensation or people analytics roles.
• Proficient with compensation management platforms, preferably Pave.
• Strong passion for data, analytical skills, and ability to distill raw data into actionable insights using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, Sigma Computing, and Claude Code.
• Exceptional attention to detail, responsibility, and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative communication style, able to effectively engage with internal teams and meet deadlines.
• High integrity and judgment with the capacity to handle confidential information professionally.
• Able to analyze complex problems with diverse scope and identify relevant data factors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of simplifying complex information for employees and senior leaders.
• Organized and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving work environment.
• Customer service experience and a clear understanding of regulatory compliance related to compensation plans and programs.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay grade for this role is K, with an equity grade of 4. New employees usually start at the lower end of the pay scale, which is determined by factors such as location, experience, and relevant skills. The Canadian base salary range is CAD 112,000 to CAD 172,000 annually.

The total compensation package may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness, and technology expenses, along with benefits such as 100% subsidized medical coverage plus dental and vision benefits for the employee and their dependents.

Additional Information and Policies

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Affirm operates as a remote-first company, offering flexibility to work from nearly anywhere within the country of employment. Some roles that require proximity to an office may require occasional onsite attendance.
