Role Overview

The Community Order Support Officer provides unarmed community order support through mobile, roving, and static patrols. This position involves foot patrols, vehicle-based movement, and static posts to maintain public order, safeguard personnel and resources, and respond to incidents as a first-line responder. Duties include detailed incident documentation and special unarmed protection and safety services required by contract standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver unarmed community officer support services across various patrol formats, including foot roving, vehicle mobility, and static stationing.
• Perform community order patrols—both mounted and dismounted—to ensure safety, order, and resource protection.
• Respond promptly to incidents, documenting occurrences accurately and providing specialized unarmed community order support as required.

Qualification and Requirements

• Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent; one year of related experience may substitute for one year of education if a degree were required.
• At least three years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Age requirement: minimum 21 years old.
• Must be a United States citizen.
• Proficient in English language skills — spoken, read, written, and comprehension.
• Compliance with medical and physical standards as defined by the contract is mandatory.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Holding an active Secret Security Clearance is essential.
• Ability to pass pre-deployment screenings including drug testing, medical checks, psychological evaluation, and 52 hours of required training.
• Capability to pass a physical fitness test and carry/wear up to 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for long durations; able to run during emergencies without causing harm to self or others.
• Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Willingness to work in shifts, typically six days per week, 12 hours per day, including the possibility of day or night shifts in Qatar for extended deployments.
