Role Overview

The Commercial Learning & Enablement Manager will shape and run the company’s commercial product learning strategy. The role is responsible for making sure employees, manufacturer representatives, and distributor partners have the knowledge, tools, and confidence to communicate the company’s products, solutions, and value effectively.

This position owns the learning journey from onboarding through continuous development by building scalable programs using instructor-led sessions, virtual delivery, self-paced learning, eLearning, video, and other modern formats. The role works closely with Product Management, Marketing, Sales Leadership, and subject matter experts to create engaging learning experiences that strengthen commercial performance.

What You Will Do

The position calls for strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration, plus the ability to think critically, bring creative judgment, and act with urgency while maintaining disciplined execution and standard processes.

  • Build and implement the commercial training roadmap in line with business priorities.
  • Develop and refresh onboarding, ongoing education, certification, and new product learning programs.
  • Produce training assets such as instructor-led guides, eLearning modules, videos, job aids, presentations, and sales enablement materials.
  • Deliver learning through classroom, virtual, and self-directed formats tailored to the audience and objectives.
  • Create content around the company’s value proposition, go-to-market approach, product range, STUD-E, and commercial capabilities.
  • Design sales support tools that help reinforce learning and improve customer conversations.
  • Own the learning management system and related learning technologies.
  • Assess training impact using learner feedback, completion data, and business outcomes, then refine programs based on results.
  • Work with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and other teams to identify learning requirements and support launches and commercial initiatives.

Required Qualifications

To be successful from the start, candidates should bring the following minimum qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Marketing, Communications, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5–7+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, product training, sales enablement, or a similar area.
  • Hands-on experience creating and delivering instructor-led, virtual, and digital learning programs.
  • Background in building technical, commercial, or product-focused learning content.
  • Working knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design approaches, and modern learning tools.
  • Experience administering a learning management system and building digital learning materials.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organization skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
