About the Role
This role is based onsite at Attain Finance's Centralized Collections Department and Corporate Office located at 10 Gillingham Drive, Unit #103, Brampton, ON. As a Collections Office Administrator, you will play a crucial part in supporting the administrative and operational tasks that enable efficient management of insolvency files, payments, account maintenance, correspondence, and general office operations. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing, processing, and monitoring insolvency-related documents, including bankruptcies and consumer proposals, ensuring all actions are timely and accurate.
- Maintain precise records of insolvency files and coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners to complete cases.
- Provide administrative support to collections operations by updating accounts, managing documentation, entering data accurately into internal systems, supporting reporting, maintaining files, and preparing for audits.
- Accurately process incoming and outgoing payments, reconcile records, address discrepancies, and maintain thorough payment documentation.
- Support general office administrative duties, organize both physical and digital filing systems, and help facilitate smooth daily office operations for the collections and corporate offices.
- Handle mail sorting by receiving, organizing, distributing incoming mail and correspondence, preparing outgoing customer and regulatory communications, and ensuring tracking of all mail items.
Qualifications and Skills
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in administration, finance, or a related area.
- Between one to three years' experience in administrative or operational support roles, preferably within financial services, collections, or servicing sectors.
- Experience managing sensitive or regulated information is considered advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks accurately under deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in team settings.
- High integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Working Conditions and Employment Details
- This is a 100% onsite position at the Lend Direct Head Office, within a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment requiring adaptability and strong time management skills.
- Position Type: Full Time
- Location: Brampton, Ontario
- Hourly Wage: CAD 20 to 24, based on skills, knowledge, location, and experience.
