Overview
We are seeking a diligent Collections Administrator fluent in Arabic to join Marriott Vacations Worldwide in Cork, Ireland. Reporting to the Assistant Manager of Servicing and Collections within the Financial Services department, this role involves managing overdue loan and maintenance fee accounts by contacting owners globally, facilitating payments, and preventing account delinquency. The position works closely with multiple internal teams including Owner Services, New Owner Administration, Lakeland and Asia Pacific Financial Services, as well as other MVW departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to owners via phone, email, fax, and post regarding past due accounts, following up on payment promises and unresponsive contacts.
- Advise owners on solutions to restore accounts to good standing and inform them about consequences of non-payment.
- Evaluate account specifics and support owners with queries about charges, payment histories, usage, payment methods, and plans.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve servicing and collection issues, keeping account records accurate and updated.
- Manage overdue notices and related correspondence for loans and maintenance fees, inclusive of preparation and distribution.
- Administer payoff quotes, credit card fees, and auto-debit enrollments.
- Collect refund-related information such as bank and credit card details to forward to the Research team for processing.
- Work with banks and credit card companies to secure authorization codes for manual charge adjustments.
- Review payment histories and forward relevant details to Research or owners as necessary.
- Perform additional duties including handling mail, logging system issues, preparing revocation documentation, managing outbound call campaigns, and assisting the Research department.
- Ensure secure handling and storage of owner data in compliance with PCI and PII standards.
- Provide support for payment-related inquiries overflow from Owner Services.
- Translate documents when required.
Additional Duties
- Verify all written communications before dispatch and ensure timely delivery to owners.
- Participate in required meetings.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with owners and stakeholders across Europe, US, Middle East, and Asia.
- Complete tasks within deadlines and perform other assignments as directed by management.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Exhibit a proactive, flexible, and positive approach to work, meeting team and business needs.
- Commit to excellent service delivery, showing sensitivity and respect in all interactions regardless of status.
- Gain and maintain knowledge of all MVW product offerings.
- Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and email.
- Collaborate effectively with MVCI team members to support shared objectives.
Language Requirement
Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory.
