Job Summary

Woodbine Entertainment is seeking dedicated Cleaners who prioritize excellent customer service to help provide memorable experiences for our guests. This role is vital to our organization’s success. Key Responsibilities and Skills

The Cleaner's main duties include maintaining cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and operating industrial cleaning machinery. Candidates must demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, a passion for cleanliness, the capability to work independently and collaboratively, and a commitment to creating an outstanding environment for guests.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Prior experience in industrial or office cleaning settings.
• Valid Ontario driver’s license (G or G2) maintained throughout employment.
• Competent in operating industrial cleaning machines.
• Comfort using detergents and chemical solvents safely.
• Proficiency in reading, understanding, and communicating effectively in English.
• Availability to work shifts including weekends, holidays, and overtime when required.
• Physical ability to lift items up to 50 pounds.
• Strong knowledge of WHMIS and health and safety regulations.
• Experience with source separation waste procedures.

Remuneration and Employment Conditions

This position is a replacement role with a pay rate starting at $22.12 per hour during probation and increasing to $22.87 per hour after probationary completion.
