Civil Site Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a proficient Civil Site Engineer to supervise construction operations, ensure adherence to design specifications, and manage all site activities effectively. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience in civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily on-site activities to guarantee timely project delivery.
• Analyze and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications accurately.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for seamless project execution.
• Maintain strict compliance with quality, safety, and environmental guidelines on site.
• Track project progress, expenses, and site conditions, providing regular reports to management.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and resolve construction-related issues.
• Perform site inspections to confirm conformity with local codes and regulations.
• Document daily operations, including progress, materials used, and reports.
• Support preparation of bills of quantities, budgeting, and material planning.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and consultants for design adjustments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5 to 10 years of practical experience in site management and construction projects.
• Expertise in civil engineering concepts and construction methodologies.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, and construction management tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership qualities.
• Ability to multitask and perform competently in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of governmental building regulations and industry codes.
• Knowledgeable in site safety measures and risk control practices.

Work Conditions

• Primarily site-based role requiring outdoor work.
