Role Overview

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) position is a fully remote, full-time leadership role responsible for managing the daily operational functions ensuring the effective delivery of distressed loan servicing. The COO will develop and enforce operational processes, streamline workflows, and drive collaboration across servicing, analytics, technology, and finance departments. In addition, this role involves tracking key performance indicators, leading ongoing improvement initiatives, and aligning operational practices with the company’s strategic aims and regulatory standards.

Engagement with senior leadership is crucial to support strategic business planning, resource distribution, and risk mitigation, while cultivating a culture emphasizing accountability, innovation, and high standards in investor reporting.

Qualifications and Expectations

• Proven expertise in operations management including process formulation, workflow enhancement, and metrics analysis.
• Strong capabilities in business planning and strategic implementation targeted at sustainable growth.
• Comprehensive knowledge in finance and budgeting to oversee costs, forecasts, and profitability.
• Advanced ability to analyze complex datasets to drive informed decisions and optimize servicing tactics.
• Experience within loan servicing, asset management, or financial services with a focus on distressed or non-performing assets is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing remote, multidisciplinary teams and leading change within startup or expanding organizations.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder relationship skills to engage effectively with investors and internal teams.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields is required; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree is advantageous.
