Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Ceiling Fan Installer responsible for handling installation, maintenance, and related services for ceiling fans and electrical components at client locations. The role involves safe transportation of equipment, assessing installation sites, assembling and wiring ceiling fans, and ensuring proper operation upon completion. Additionally, the installer will provide excellent customer service, including answering queries and managing any concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load and transport equipment to clients or businesses in a timely manner.
• Verify order accuracy before and after delivery to ensure completeness and correct billing.
• Assess installation sites to identify the most suitable fan placement and confirm the ceiling’s strength can support the fan.
• Install and assemble ceiling fans, securely mounting and wiring them to the electrical system with safety and efficiency.
• Test installed fans to confirm operational integrity, free from electrical or mechanical faults.
• Clean up the work site post-installation, removing debris and packaging materials.
• Provide customers with guidance on fan operation and maintenance.
• Deliver a variety of electrical services, including wiring and power switch installations.
• Carry out custom false ceiling work tailored to client requirements.
• Maintain compliance with transportation laws and safe driving practices.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports for the direct supervisor.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior experience in ceiling fan installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair is advantageous.
• Handyman skills will be considered a plus.
• Physical ability to walk, drive, and handle heavy lifting over extended periods.
• Possession of a valid driving license with the capability to operate a 10-foot lorry or van.
• Preference for candidates with at least one year of relevant experience.
