Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet every customer with politeness and friendliness.
• Efficiently manage all purchase transactions, including deactivation of items according to the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) program.
• Promote company-sponsored programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives.
• Help customers by bagging and assisting with loading their purchases.
• Adhere to safe working practices, including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy workspace.
• Maintain the security and integrity of the cash register by careful handling of money, following company policies, and staying vigilant.
• Forward relevant service and transaction concerns to the Customer Service Manager when necessary.

Compensation

The starting hourly rate for this position is $16.90.
