About the Role

Abacare Limited, based in Connah's Quay, Flint, is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to provide vital support to vulnerable adults within the Flint community. This rewarding position involves helping clients maintain their independence and dignity in their own homes through a variety of daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with their morning routine including washing and dressing.
• Prepare nutritious breakfasts or lunches.
• Remind clients to take their medications on time.
• Offer companionship and a friendly listening ear to brighten their day.

Qualifications and Experience

Previous professional experience is not required. Whether you have cared for family members or are seeking a meaningful career change, comprehensive paid training is provided to equip you with the necessary skills and confidence to excel in this role.

Work Schedule and Location

Flexible working hours available including full-time, part-time, mornings, evenings, or weekends. Positions are primarily onsite within the Flint area, with routes suitable for walking for those without personal transport.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay starting at 3.45, increasing to 3.75 on weekends.
• Mileage reimbursement at 45p per mile for drivers.
• Complete flexibility to tailor your work schedule to personal commitments such as school runs or family care.
