Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure uninterrupted supply to manufacturing by managing purchase order adjustments with suppliers to fulfill Material Requirements Planning (MRP) demands.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain problems involving engineering, manufacturing, program managers, and supplier account management.
  • Oversee procurement activities to secure purchases at the optimum cost, considering quality, supplier reliability, and urgency.
  • Drive efforts to reduce inventory levels and eliminate excess and obsolete stock.
  • Manage and execute assigned purchasing projects, controlling cost, schedule, and scope.
  • Handle sensitive and complex information collaboratively with supplier leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the purchasing team and serve as a trainer for departmental procurement activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management.
