Business Operations Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Operations Specialist on a contract basis, working remotely with a flexible commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week. The hourly pay ranges from $20 to $45. This position involves analyzing real workplace communications, such as Slack conversations, email threads, and internal documents, to identify crucial information and business context.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine genuine workplace interactions to extract significant information and context.
• Identify decisions made, action points, dependencies, blockers, and outstanding questions from unstructured business dialogues.
• Integrate complex data from different sources into practical, multi-step tasks to evaluate advanced AI agents within the Jarvis reinforcement learning environment.
• Create clear and effective prompts alongside comprehensive evaluation rubrics based on real startup workflows and operational dynamics.
• Filter out irrelevant information while tracking important details across multiple communication channels and timelines.
• Manage ambiguous or incomplete data by applying systematic and structured methods to maintain task authenticity and precision.

Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a strong focus on clarity and accuracy.
• Skilled at interpreting and correlating partial workplace communications across various formats.
• Experience in organizing and synthesizing disordered, unstructured information into clear, actionable insights.
• Proven ability to pinpoint key decisions, action items, and contextual dependencies in fast-moving business settings.
• Strong generalist capabilities, preferably with background experience in startups or dynamic operational roles.
