Role Overview

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be a central figure in transforming data into actionable insights within the Operations Centre of Excellence. Collaborating closely with the COO and CFO, the role's primary focus is designing, developing, and refining dashboards and reports that provide a unified and reliable view of business performance. Utilizing Yardi data and Power BI, the analyst will deliver practical solutions that support operational and financial decision-making across various departments including Property Management, Leasing, Asset Management, and Resident Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, update and manage Power BI dashboards across multiple business functions to replace outdated reports and spreadsheets.
• Develop detailed operational and high-level executive reports with extract options as needed.
• Model and integrate data from Yardi and other sources using Power Query and DAX for efficient and accurate reporting.
• Authorize and maintain secure data access, applying Row Level Security and ensuring GDPR compliance.
• Collaborate extensively with stakeholders to identify data needs, enhance reporting, and provide training to foster dashboard adoption.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Hands-on experience in end-to-end Power BI dashboard creation, including data modeling and publishing.
• Advanced proficiency in Power Query, DAX, and SQL, with a solid understanding of data modeling concepts like star schema and relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to combine, analyze, and present data from diverse systems with clarity.
• Experience managing data access controls and permissions in reporting environments.
• Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders and translate business needs into data solutions.
• Capacity to thrive independently in a fast-paced, evolving setting.

Preferred Experience

• Background in property, real estate, BTR/PRS sectors, or regulated operational environments.
• Familiarity with Yardi data structures and property management systems.
• Experience in leasing, customer journey analytics, finance, or operational reporting.
• Knowledge of GDPR compliant reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Power BI certification and experience with broader Microsoft data and automation tools.
