Role Overview

In this outbound Business Development Representative role, you will act as a key driver of market expansion. Working closely with Enterprise Account Executives, you will identify, map, and qualify opportunities inside high-priority accounts rather than waiting for inbound interest. Your work will focus on building early pipeline and establishing the relationships that support the sales funnel.

The role combines targeted outreach, account research, and disciplined qualification. You will help prospective buyers understand how graph technology addresses complex enterprise data challenges and turn cold outreach into meaningful technical and commercial conversations.

Responsibilities

  • Work with regional Account Executives to shape territory plans, prioritise accounts, and run coordinated outbound campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Research and map enterprise accounts to reach the right stakeholders across technical, data, and business teams.
  • Carry out high-volume strategic outreach through cold calls, personalised emails, and social selling to secure executive interest and create pipeline.
  • Lead technical and business discovery discussions to identify pain points, current data-stack limitations, and buying signals.
  • Assess outbound prospects using structured enterprise sales methods and pass well-qualified opportunities to the sales team.
  • Keep Salesforce.com and Outreach records accurate and up to date, with strong attention to account detail and activity tracking.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs tied to outreach activity, meetings booked, and new pipeline generation.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of practical experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a BDR, SDR, or inside sales professional in enterprise software.
  • Hands-on experience running structured outbound prospecting campaigns using cold calls, sequenced email outreach, and multi-channel engagement.
  • Familiarity with common enterprise sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms.
