Job Overview

The Business Development Representative (BDR) role is central to Notion's new go-to-market approach, focusing on a workflow-first, builder-led model. Based in Dublin, the BDR will initiate contact with selected companies ready to rethink their workflows and set qualified meetings for Solutions Consultants. This role requires a high level of outbound activity with a focus on delivering quality, targeted opportunities rather than generic lead generation. Work from the office is expected on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays to foster collaboration.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify and target high-potential accounts within an assigned book to generate qualified pipeline aligned with workflow-focused sales strategy.
• Engage prospects through multi-channel outreach including email, phone, LinkedIn, and events to create urgency and arrange initial meetings with decision-makers.
• Perform qualification by assessing alignment with Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), intent, and workflow compatibility to ensure leads are ready for Solutions Consultants.
• Prepare and deliver detailed handoff documentation in Salesforce containing ICP indicators, pain points, workflow insights, and relevant stakeholder information.
• Utilize GTM systems and intent data to refine targeting, prioritize leads based on signals, and enhance outbound campaign effectiveness.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven success in generating outbound sales pipelines with practical experience in cold calling, emailing, and social media prospecting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce customized, persona-targeted outreach that captures attention.
• Strong ability to quickly qualify prospects by determining ICP fit, urgency, and setting the groundwork for impactful conversations.
• Interest and understanding in AI/ML technologies and API-driven or consumption-based business models.
• High activity level combined with discipline to focus efforts based on data and quality indicators rather than just volume.
• Willingness to adapt and integrate AI tools to improve work efficiency and outcomes.
• Fluency in French is mandatory.

Preferred but Not Required

• Experience using Salesforce, Outreach, or other GTM tools.
• Familiarity with Notion as a product or prior experience selling collaborative, productivity, or workflow software.
• Background in a fast-paced, metric-driven outbound sales environment with clear pipeline targets.

Compensation and Additional Information

Notion offers competitive cash compensation, equity participation, and benefits. The expected on-target earnings for this role are approximately €70,000 annually, varying based on location, role complexity, and candidate experience.

Work Arrangement
