Position Overview
Join JFrog as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and play a pivotal role in introducing cutting-edge software solutions to some of the world's leading enterprises like Amazon, Google, and Netflix. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence how these companies address key challenges in DevSecOps and AI/ML within a fast-evolving and growth-focused work atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of interaction for prospective clients, presenting JFrog's product offerings and value.
- Identify and interpret complex business needs to uncover potential commercial opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth research and assessment of potential client accounts prior to engagement.
- Engage prospects via phone, email, and social media platforms to build relationships.
- Drive the creation of a robust sales pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting and follow-up of inbound inquiries.
- Keep sales data current within Salesforce to support accurate reporting, pipeline tracking, and sales forecasting.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to devise strategies for generating new leads.
Candidate Profile
- At least two years’ experience in B2B or B2D SaaS business development, with demonstrated success; prior experience selling complex tech products to technical audiences is advantageous.
- Skilled in prospecting, cold calling, and email outreach to cultivate new leads.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-driven, able to work independently and motivated by both personal and team success.
- Highly organized, adept at handling multiple priorities efficiently.
- Familiar with Salesforce CRM and sales automation tools such as Salesloft or Outreach.
- Holds a BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
